In 2025 Education Support launched the project: Information Literacy for MSc Students. Based on interviews with lecturers at several programs, they have been co-creating a new educational offering by the library that is more aligned with the needs of faculties. This new offering includes a new resource: the Information Literacy Master Thesis Guide (pilot version available here https://tu-delft-library.github.io/il-master-thesis-guide/main/intro.html).
The guide is being co-developed by lecturers and the Library Education Support Team. It supports MSc students and thesis supervisors during the master thesis process by:
- Recapping basic information literacy skills students have learned during their bachelor
- Providing information, examples, quizzes and templates specific for master-level information literacy skills (i.e. advanced searching & source evaluation, synthesizing, exploring academic literature, publishing)
The guide is currently piloting within a selected number of programs and will be spread further in academic year 2026-2027.
