As AI becomes more prevalent in various areas of education, we need to ensure students are not only aware of its potential, but also of its potential risks, limitations and ethical challenges. Education Support (Library) and Centre for Languages and Academic Skills (TPM) have developed a reference guide for one of these areas: how to use AI for the different steps of conducting a literature review. The guide provides a basic introduction and practical guidance for students and PhD candidates with foundational knowledge about GenAI tools and how these tools can support the literature review process.
The guide is created as a Jupyter Book and can be accessed here. The guide is aimed to be used in courses offered at TU Delft (for BSc, MSc and PhD level) and can also be used for self-study. The current version is a pilot, aimed at gathering feedback from the TU Delft educational community before wider distribution as an open educational resource.
If you’re interested in this project, would like to pilot this guide with students or want to provide feedback, please reach out to Matthijs Looij (m.looij@tudelft.nl) or Lisanne Walma (l.w.b.walma@tudelft.nl).
